A park kialakításának építési munkái 1993 novemberében kezdődtek és 1994. június 15-én lett átadva a siófoki polgároknak.
The Millennium Park, formerly known as Baross Park, is located in the center of Siófok, right in front of the train station. Spread over 16,000 square meters, the park provides a relaxing place for city dwellers and visitors alike. Construction work on the park began in November 1993 and was handed over to the citizens of Siófok on June 15, 1994.
