★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The zoo is situated in a forest that gives a really natural feeling. On the other hand, be careful in case of rain, because it can get muddy and slippery. Anyway, staff is friendly, prices are good (though there aren't any student tickets), animals are beautiful and interesting. Enjoy your day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool little zoo, you can have a good time. I recommend for families with kids. Very affordable price. Generally cool - I recommend it. Staff doesn't speak English only Hungarian, makes a hassle in ticket office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful animals just a step away. The place is not overburdened. You can sit down nearly every corner either to rest or to eat. There are houses to take cover in case of rain. All in all it is cool!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even in the winter season, a lot of animals could be seen. The zoo doesn't seem large but you can easily walk around for at least two hours. Feeding time is around 1pm, and I recommend following the path of the small truck to get a close look of the feeding animals by the fences. The tickets are pretty cheap too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, it was the first time going to the zoo (I know ?). I was there for about an hour and some minutes. The walk up? Beautiful and took about 15 minutes from the trolley stop. I don't know how much you guys pay cause I had bought the Miskolc tourist pass/card thingie. I don't know how to compare this zoo as it was my first ever visit. It was okay. I was heart broken by the tigers (honestly, I was an emotional wreak), the bears were cute (of course) but the staff was not really smiley smiley (does it make sense?) but I sort of enjoyed it
