★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I adore this place. It's the ideal coffee house, full of old-world splendor, excellent cakes, reasonable prices and surprisingly few tourists. It's the ideal place to linger for hours chatting with friends. It's usually pleasant and quiet inside (other than the juicer) and outside you can sit on the shaded yet bustling Andrássy Avenue. I only wish they had racks of newspapers like the old days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiter was very kind and the ambiance for coffee inside was just too! Felt transported back to early 20th century :) Super near the Budapest opera house, and can imagine the artists of old swinging by and making this their café joint. ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for an Expresso. They told me it was cash only. Also got Hungarian scrambled eggs. It was good. 3.5 stars, nothing to complain about but didn't blow my mind that I need to come back.
