★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Established in 1898 this wonderful establishment has graced some incredible personalities, politicians and notable people of their time. The food is of an exception standard, waitering staff are well trained and are very kind. This is in my opinion an historical monument to Andrassy Avenue and would rival many of the famous bistro's and Brasserie's of the famous avenues all over the world. The decor has not aged but improved over time and the unpolished aspects makes it seem authentic and transports all diners to am era where dining out was an incredible luxury.
If you are in Budapest, you would regret not stopping at this wonderful establishment for a truly historic experience.
