Szépen kezdik felújítani. Kár, hogy a templom zárva volt.
They're starting to renovate nicely. Too bad the church was closed.

Gyönyörű zarándokhely, szállás lehetőséggel, szép, gondozott parkkal. Érdemes letérni a 6-os útról és megnézni a felújított angyalszobrokat, a templomkertet és eltölteni ott pár csendes percet rohanó világunkban.
Beautiful place of pilgrimage, accommodation, beautiful well-kept park. It's a good idea to turn down Route 6 and see the restored angel statues, the temple garden, and spend a few quiet minutes in our busy world.

A XV.században épült gótikus stílusban, melyet az 1750-es években alakítottak át barokk stílusúvá. 1740 áprilisában a Szent Miklós templom romjai között helybeli kislányok füvet gyüjtöttek, amikor meglátták a kis Jézust karján tartó Szűzanya szobrát.
Built in the 15th century in the Gothic style, it was converted into Baroque style in the 1750s. In April 1740, local girls gathered among the ruins of St. Nicholas' Church when they saw the statue of Our Lady on the arm of little Jesus.

Leparkoltunk a toronydeficites sárga templom előtti parkolóban. 1758-ban elkészült a szentkép 2.0. Ezen már a filiálés templomok névadó szentjeit is ábrázolták. (Szent József Marázát, Szent Lőrinc Szederkényt, Szent Márton Kéméndet míg Szent Miklós Liptódot képviselte).
We parked in the parking lot in front of the tower-deficient yellow church. Two huge pyrogranite angels invited us hospitably. I don’t want to be profane, but they were conspicuous “creatures”. Wait, angels, let us first look for the source of the Temple. In less than 5 minutes, we were standing by the multi-mosquito spring. When we returned to the church, we were happy to discover the phone number of the “key bearer”. A willing male voice said regretfully, “Unfortunately it takes me 10 minutes to ask for the keys by bike! Sumptuous! He didn't shake it. Even he apologized for horribile dictu to wait 10 minutes. I liked the brother invisibly. The church dates back to the 18th century. It was a famous shrine in the middle of the 19th century. After the “hiding” Mary disappeared as described above, the believers “set off”. They came in crowded rows. In 1746, a woman from Pécs painted the first image of a devotee for her healing little girl. In 1758 the holy image 2.0 was completed. This already depicts the eponymous saints of the branching churches. (St. Joseph Maraza, St. Lawrence Szederkény, St. Martin Spy represented while St. Nicholas Liptod).

Véletlenek nincsenek. Csodálatos kegyhely! Kedves Gondnokkal is találkoztunk. Bemutatta a templomot. Lenyűgöző!!
There are no coincidences. Wonderful shrine! We also met a nice Caretaker. He introduced the church. Amazing !!

It's the second pilgrimage venue in the county of Baranya, where Virgin Mary appeared to girls and ladies some centuries ago. This appearance is a pretty rare occasion and it happens to very special people. Because Virgin Mary appeared - de facto - on this place, the church was built here in order to honour this rare happening. Since than, many pilgrims come each year (per bus or car, with bikes or even by feet) - some of them more times a year. From year to year, more and more people experience "strange" things happen to them: some of them turn from a seriously sick state - unbelievably - to a totally healthy state. Even that are the reasons, why this place is very special and holy. Also, two of Saint George lines are crossing in the church (directly at the altar) and two associated Ley lines are crossing around the altar from each site (East, West, South, and North). People, who are sensitive to such energetic lines, feel especially intensive energetic fields in this area. This pilgrimage venue is important for both the German minority and the Croatian minority from the county of Baranya, because many religious happenings from their clerical lives are bounded to this special place. The parish is shortly renovated - mostly from outside - and looks now really good. The bishop handed it over on the 16th June 2019. The church is in bad condition too. It should be renewed this year. I hope, it'll be at least as beautiful as the parish now is.
