D	Dániel Lengyel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Szép várótermeket találunk itt kis kiállítással, van előtte egy kis mozdonyskanzen, az állomás jó nagy, a mosdó ingyenes, a büfében elfogadnak szép kártyát. A menetrend is jó csak vannak késések gazdagon. Tehát összességében egy jó Máv állomás. Nálam a 4 pont csak az elhelyezkedése miatt jár, nagyon messze van a belvárostól Lehet ez itt Kanizsán természetes, de amúgy szerintem Magyarországon összes megyei jogú város közül itt van legmesszebb az állomás a központtól. Ennél messzebb csak Dunaújvárosban van távolabb a vasút. We find nice waiting rooms here with a small exhibition, there is a small locomotive booth in front of it, the station is good, the washbasin is free, a nice card is accepted in the buffet. The schedule is also good only there are delays richly. So overall a good Máv station. For me, the 4 points are only due to their location, they are very far from the city center This may be natural here in Kanizsa, but in my opinion, the station is the furthest from all the county cities in Hungary. The railway is further away only in Dunaújváros.
Z	Zsolt Lovas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sokszor fordultam itt meg, hol tengerparti ICE-vel, hol Balatoni járattal. Kedves segítőkész kollégákkal találkozhattam, ezen a kellemes kis állomáson. A vontatási telep is rendezettnek tűnik, sokat csellengtem arrafelé. Az állomástól nem messze van egy "skanzen" régi érdekes járművekkel, érdemes a vasúti múlt után érdeklődőknek megtekinteni... I have visited here many times, sometimes with a coastal ICE, sometimes with a flight to Lake Balaton. I was able to meet dear helpful colleagues at this pleasant little station. The towing station also seems tidy, I wandered a lot there. Not far from the station there is an "open-air museum" with old interesting vehicles, it is worth visiting for those interested in the railway past ...
S	Sándor Szabados on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sajnos kevés emlékem maradt, katonai szolgálatom másfél éve alatt csak 6-szor lehettem itt. Ez öröm is egyben, keserűség is egyben. Arra emlékszem viszont, hogy gyilkosan sokat kellett gyalogolni, esetleg taxizni, amíg elértük az állomás épületét, hogy felszállhassunk a tömött vonatra. Unfortunately, I have little memory left, I have only been here 6 times in my year and a half of military service. It is both joy and bitterness. I remember, on the other hand, that we had to walk killerly, maybe take a taxi, until we reached the station building to board the crowded train.

M	Máté Illés on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nagykanizsai vasútállomás szebb napokat is látott már. Rá férne végre egy felújítás. Az állomáson váróterem, mosdók, kocsma és jegypénztár valamint jegyautomata is található. A külső oldalon megfelelő méretű parkolóval van ellátva, valamint a 18as busz is megáll itt. Nagykanizsa egyik előnye, hogy minden irányba lehet innen menni. Északra Szombathelyre, Délre Pécs felé, Nyugatra a horvát határ felé, Gyékényes állomáshoz lehet eljutni (valamint közlekedik a zágrábi, nyáron pedig a horvát tengerparti vonat), Nyugatra pedig a Balatont és Budapestet érhetjük el átszállás nélkül. Előfordulhatnak késések, eddig nálam kétszer háromszor fordult elő. Az út Budapestre általában 3 óra a gyorsvonattal. Csak a régebbi típusú mozdonyok és vaganok járnak errefelé(nyáron előfordul 1-2 felújított légkondis vagon). Jó lenne ha motorvonatok is járnának Balatontól idáig, mert van igény rájuk főleg nyáron. Nagykanizsa Railway Station has seen better days. A renovation could finally be done. The station also has a waiting room, washbasins, a pub and a ticket office, as well as a vending machine. On the outside there is a decent amount of parking and bus 18 stops here. One of the advantages of Nagykanizsa is that you can go in all directions. North to Szombathely, South to Pécs, West to the Croatian border, Gyékényes station (as well as Zagreb and the Croatian coastal train) and to the west we can reach Lake Balaton and Budapest without transfer. There may be delays, so far I have twice thrice. The journey to Budapest is usually 3 hours by express train. Only older locomotives and wagons are here (1-2 renewed air-conditioned wagons occur in summer). It would be nice to have motor trains from Lake Balaton to here, because there is demand for them mainly in summer.
