Szenta vasútállomás közös kis és nagyvasúti megállóhely. A nagyvasút részéről csak a személyvonatok állnak meg ám a közösen itt fekvő kisnyomtávú Kaszói kisvasút évi 1-2 alkalmas teljes vonalú közlekedésekor a gyorsvonatok is megállnak itt. A nagyvasútnak átrakodója is van itt ahol a közeli füzemből rakodnak fát. A faüzem az egykori téglagyár területén helyezkedik el, elég romos napjainkra de még működik. Szenta állomásról van a Kaszói kisvasútnak is vágánya ám ide évi pár alkalommal jönnek csak ki a vonatok, alap esetben a Baláta tó-Kaszó viszonylaton közlekednek a kivonatok. A kisvasút három féle sínnel van ellátva és pont ez az utolsó 700m Szentára a vasúttal egyidős 1952-ből, ezek vékony kilenc kilós pipaszár sínek. A kisvasút teljes állománya kettő C50-es mozdony illetve a Karácsony gőzös ami a 2000-es évek óta nem üzemel. Személykocsiból három van amiből kettő nyitott és egy zárt.
