Food is better than average, but not much veg options. The wait can be long (lunch min 1 hour, even with set menu).

Lovely tavern like feeling, food is great, servers are friendly, one guy in particular is funny. Dart competitions on Tuesdays if your interested.

I personally liked my meal. But the problem was that it took at least hour for us to get our food and the place wasn’t even busy. One or two other parties there ordered food and the other couple of people were having dessert and drinking. The one star is because of the service. Normally we would be willing to wait and it wouldn’t be a problem but when we were ready to order, our waiter was standing around chatting with people at the bar right in front of us for 15 minutes and we let him know we were ready and he seemed inconvenienced and waited another 10 minutes or so to take our order. They just made it seem like tending to our table and giving us service was a lot to ask and we weren’t expecting a lot. We just wanted to order and get our food which was the minimum you expect from a waiter. Even that seemed too much to ask. My husband also got food poisoning from the food. If you like the pub feel that’s what this place is. There were some kids running around the dining area, it had a noisy vibe, people were there to drink and enjoy themselves and it was a little loud. If you are just dinning out but if you are up for that, go for it. If you have time to kill, it won’t be a problem. But if you want quick service, this isn’t the place to go eat.

Very good, cheap, varied and good food, (only I miss the fish but I think it isn't very popular in Hungary in general). I recommed the free buffet (soup+dish+salad) drink and dessert apart. Good deal.

Great place for a roasted pork knuckle.

Service was friendly, food was very average, a little expensive for what it was for me. Sitting on the terrace is a little loud from the main road being right next to it. The aubergine dip was nice.

This is our local. We enjoy the staff, food and vibe. Great hungarian fare - the ghoulash and pork knuckle especially. Also great chicken wings and pizza. Also really like the gyro plate.

We went for a long weekend to this town (we live nearby). We wanted to try out something recommended by the locals. First I was almos disappointed. Went in, nobody greeted us to get us a table, sat down, waited for a few minutes. Have to say, we were not preprered for what kind of place we will visit. After a while we have realised, this is a place where everybody, including the staff feels great beeing there. They just feel great that they can work there. They are happy about it. And that is something rare to find. First the watier was "too friendly", but actually, we figured, he is just feeling allright, and wants the guests to feel the same. The food... AWESOME! I would say typical hungarian, but to be honest, typical hungarian, with a heart in making the food. Cosy place, with a welcoming, and kind staff. Huge portions, we had to take home the rest. But it was so good, we have ordered food from this place the next night. AND! When we were there, I have asked if we can order the next day. They have told me, that of course, but they are out of the weekly specials. I have told them that it is a shame, because I had my eye on something for tomorrow. They said: "Let me see what I can do..." And they made sure that next day, if I call, they will have a portion for me of the food ready... and they did. Now THAT is something that I call a customer service. Also, an american couple was there with us, you could tell they are regulars, and they were more than pleased by everything. So for the guy who gave only one star: I feel sorry for you, because you must have been there on a wrong day. I do not have any interest in giving five stars for this place, but this really is something great. We came for what we needed, and we have gotten it.
