The host is a lovey, lovely lady who meant well but we were surprised to be greeted by her requesting us to be quiet before we’d even got out of the car at 21.45!. Negative: Was disappointed that the room didn’t actually have an en-suite bathroom as we thought it was when we did the booking. It was slightly uncomfortable having to go out to the corridor to use the toilet in the middle of the night. The decor was slightly dated and mix matched in our particular room..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The fussy friendliness of the owner. Cleanliness. Near the station. Negative: Owner spoke only Hungarian and used GoogleTranslate to communicate. This was not satisfactory. The private bathroom was separate from the room and could be used by anyone. Property was not accessible even to leave bags until 16.00 Quite a way out of town..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location!!! The owner is super sweet, she does NOT speak English so be prepared with your phone translator. She is wonderful and will accommodate you the best that she can! She provided us with water and served us coffee in the morning before we checked out. The location is in a good area and it looks very safe. It is a boarding house so don’t be afraid if there’s others renting a room in that whole house.
I loved the experience and the air conditioner is THE BEST! Better than any hotel I’ve been in Hungary!!!
