★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a strange woman working there. I greeted her in English, since I can't speak Hungary. Instead of exchanging money she just laughed at me, talking incomprehensible. It was bizzar. I left and found another exchange nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I changed at the Oktogon branch. And yes they charge you 500 HUF as I changed 170 Euros at that time back in 20 June 2019. I was actually introduced by my AirBnb host to come Oktogon area since I had to change to some HUF from Euro. Hence, I had no choice but to just change the Euros. I would say if you could live with the commission of 500 HUF then go ahead. Else, you may look somewhere else and compare the rates. And additional tip, most restaurants and mini markets or stores accepts credit cards. I found out when I was there. Good luck!
