★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a grandiose well kept building! It sits in a lovely square (with a rural/village feeling) with in front a gallery, and in front of the river. A plaque at the front gives you a few details - the year of construction. Could not enter, but I saw that the synagogue was in use.
