My family and I used the services last year. Our relationship with Oncompass started more stubbornly. Communication was cumbersome in the beginning and there were misunderstandings unfortunately, no understanding of each other ... However, Oncompass was very correct in retrospect and contacted us to clarify the situation. I think this is a very positive and honest gesture. During our conversation, we went through a lot of painful points and misunderstandings and what could be done to further improve the processes and give patients and their relatives an even more humane and loving atmosphere and thus be able to help even more (better) with Oncompass. . For my part, we were able to clear up the painful points and be able to move forward, forgetting the pains of the past. I hope that based on the experience of my family, I will be able to improve their processes and achieve further qualitative development in their patient-physician communication, information, and feelings on departure. I extremely believe in the power of artificial intelligence and modern medicine. Oncompass is paying attention to patient information and communication so that the patient doesn’t feel like just a piece of paper in the future, and even more changes are being made to this now. However, like nothing in the world, it is not a panacea, an all-encompassing treatment. I recommend everyone to be informed accurately, completely and to ask all their questions before the treatments, examinations, even what you might think is stupid or simple, really chew through everything. The worst thing is when the patient and family expect something different and in the end there is disappointment. Oncompass Medicine promises that, in addition to the six hundred gene laboratory tests, it will help patients seek potential clinical trials for clinically irrelevant mutations (i.e., mutations for which there is no approved drug) through its international network. My personal experience is that while the pre-appointment promises to do the lab test as quickly as possible, in reality everything is extremely slow and cumbersome. The sample was found to be unfit for testing within three weeks. After another sample was tested, the result was not reported for another two weeks because it was only made available to the patient in the form of a report. This lasted for two months from the date we paid the full fee for the study. After that, Dr. Gábor Pajkos gave a briefing on the results of the report, in which the text was about 80 percent identical to what was said during the preliminary consultation. When I drew your attention to the fact that parts of the report were copied in English from Internet sites, he replied that I was biased and that this part of the report was not for lay people. He then promised that as soon as there was a progression in my illness, they would look for a relevant clinical trial for me (the report also says "when it will be current"). I indicated on November 26 that the search is now up to date, nothing has happened in the next 12 days. As a layman, I found a few hours of searching for two clinical trials for my illness with whom I contacted. I find it outrageous that time is running out and, contrary to its promise, Oncompass is not involved in the process at any level. Whenever I try to contact my Patient Route Coordinator (and that was the case during the two months I waited for the results of the study), he is in a meeting and will call me back in a few hours and give evasive answers (it doesn’t depend on him, he forwarded my requests, etc. ).

Thanks for nothing! It’s not enough that it cost 4900 euros, but they’re so shitty with the whole process that it will be sweet anyway! This is a cancer patient and you shouldn't be wasting that much time! At the end of October, my family member reported it for 2-3 weeks did not even respond! There are still no results and the condition of my family has deteriorated rapidly! That would have been our only last hope! Disgusting, thief gang!

My husband had been diagnosed with liver metastasis for more than a year. During the state care, a gene mutation was identified for which there is no targeted chemotherapy, so he received a “general chemo” for nearly a year. CT results showed improvement first and then minor deterioration. That’s when we turned to Oncompass, where the metastatic lymph node removed when the colon tumor was removed was also examined and found to have a mutation for which the targeted chemotherapeutic agent was found! The therapeutic proposal was agreed with the oncoteam. As a result, tumors in the liver have been significantly reduced on a recent CT scan. I have quite a similar experience with previous writers. Communication is a breeze with the company. The contact is completely wordless. Not available, no call back. Things went very slowly, if I hadn’t called them what they were, they might never have called. We got a report that meant virtually nothing, no one to evaluate, a normal person didn’t understand anything about it. Follow the path of the patient? Forget it. He was never asked what was wrong with him. The only drug recommended by the report was rejected by the OEP, saying its effectiveness had not been proven, and the one-and-a-half-mile adventure ended here, with everyone spreading their hands. A good oncologist is worth 100x more in my opinion.

I was very happy when I contacted Oncompass because after a very bad news (malignancy), I saw a glimmer of hope that I could take the path of recovery and find an effective solution to this problem, or at least try it now. any therapy / medication available. I have received fantastic support on their part all the time. The constant interest in my condition, before / after surgery, before / after hospital, and they also helped me a lot in how to relate to the cumbersome / sometimes incredible things I experience in Hungarian healthcare, and I still support them. For me, trust is 100%, and I really need it, because without it, without their help, without my advice, I would have lost it in health, and maybe I would have given it all up. Sure, his man picks out who needs what, but in such a difficult position, I’ve met super and awesome people who are really interested in my condition and are trying to help in every way. Plus, I’m a pretty curious person who is interested in what’s new in medicine about cancer / new cures / therapies / drugs, etc, etc, and I’ve got absolutely right answers to these questions (there are / will be :)). I try to be restrained about our experiences, which unfortunately coincide with the experiences of those who wrote opinions in front of me ... In short, this is an expensive lab test. The two oncologists who performed the treatments practically arranged with a shrug that we had used this service and there will be a report ... When we had it, there was nothing to do with it. The beginning of the process seems to be to get in touch with them. They report that an "expert" is examining the documents (telling them what to send). These are all medical documents. The expert Dr. is a kind lady, She reviews the documents and informs the client. Unfortunately, it only happened to us a few days later that He was a Lawyer Dr, not a Doctor! This in itself is a deception. After all, we talk about medical things and obviously about their services. Of course, despite the fact that the patient's condition was extremely advanced and we said that we had very little time, they did not think that "children, do not pay this money because we may not be ready, or there is very little chance, etc .. They they do everything as soon as the money is in their account.The money was in their account within a few hours and from then on the antics started. The seconded coordinator didn't even know his world. Of course, if it could be achieved. They have never been asked how the patient's clinical condition develops. If there was any new information we shared with them, we might have asked something, the only answer was to pass it on to the experts. Who the experts are, what the conclusion is, it has not been revealed, because they have never been signaled back. From then on, we could no longer take them seriously. The report seems more of a copy paste than a serious innovation. Their website promises a second opinion from an independent oncologist that we did not receive. Unfortunately, it is no longer interesting to us. I could write a lot, but it doesn’t make sense. In my opinion, a good oncologist who is in contact with the patient can do much more for this money than this company. In addition, histological specimens can be subjected to molecular diagnostics on a Tb basis (not even in one case), although not with 600 genes (in reality this is not the case) with only the most typical 6-8 genes. However, with this and the standard protocol, the necessary treatment was found. This was because it was ready sooner than the report and all the oncompass could tell was that the treatment offered was appropriate.

Based on the mutation profile obtained, the treatments / medications recommended in the Oncompass report helped the treating physician to choose which therapies to consider. So far, we have used the Oncompass service twice (06/06/2018 and 2021/04), assuming mutations that may occur in the meantime. The effectiveness of consecutive treatments has now been exhausted, so this is the third time we have performed the study. We hope that new therapies will become available due to the possible mutation change and the new products that will be launched in the meantime.
