Őrségi Patakparti Alpaka Farm

It can only be visited between 9-11, exclusively for the guests of the Alpaka Pension in Kisrákos! Less interactive than feminine; no one here should expect a petting zoo or a stalk! You could just watch the animals.

The place is fabulous and the alpacas were very sweet and friendly. We visited them every day during our stay there and were enchanted every time and were happy to come there even for a caress.

Very polite service, cleanliness, the shared kitchen is equipped with everything. The room and bathroom were very clean, we were able to enjoy our vacation there. The alpacas are awful sweets, a pleasure to see how free they can be. The wooded part of the accommodation is huge, the wooded seating, sunbathing, the best for active recreation, I can only recommend it! Next to it there is a very good cafe in the village, which I can only recommend in Szaknyér!

The alpacas live in a very nice environment, which are very interesting little cattle. They seem to be well kept. The place could be a little better tabulated because we walked smoothly past the farm. I deducted 2 stars for the reception. When we got there we couldn’t find anyone, so we took the courage and went alone to see the alpacas, of course staying outside the paddock. A little later, an uncle showed up with two presumably tourists and asked where we came from (we were guests of the boarding house), after that he didn’t care much about us and the situation became quite uncomfortable for us. He talked to the other 2 tourists, brought them refreshments, etc. We felt like we were undesirable people. I don’t know, maybe we weren’t sympathetic because I read that he also guided others around.

We could see many beautiful alpacas in a beautiful garden! The alpacas are in a fenced area, you can watch them (not stroking, not feeding) as they are shy animals! We felt great! We have never seen alpacas so close!

This place is so beautiful !!!! Simply fantastic. The garden and the lake are wonderful, everything is fantastically tidy, the alpacas are endless. A must-see place !!!! ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️ This year (2022) we stayed in the new canopy, which is quite a special experience. ???

Fabulous environment and (after shearing) fun cute animals who seem to be having a good time there. I talked to the owner a lot, a nice gentleman. Purity, order prevails on the few acres of property. There is also a small lake with wild ducks. The village where the farm is located has 46 inhabitants, so it is a real island of tranquility. I'm going again next year.
