★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az országzászlót 1934-ben emelték Pestújhelyen.
1948-ban centenáriumi emlékművé alakították egy a talapzatra helyezett „Ifjúságunk 1848-1948 feliratú táblával. Ekkor távolították el az árboc csúcsdíszét az „esküt” mutató kézfejet.
1992-ben az emlékművet felújították, az eredeti csúcsdíszt nem pótolták.
2007-ben a bronz címer eltűnt. 2008-ban a címert pótolták és az emlékművet ismét felújították.
Az emlékmű a tér síkjából kiemelkedő földhanton, kétlépcsős alapzaton áll.

In 1948, it was converted into a centenary monument on our pedestal, “Our youth with a board labeled 1848-1948. At that time, the top of the mast top was removed by the "oath".
In 1992, the monument was renovated and the original top decoration was not replaced.
In 2007, the Bronze Coat of Arms disappeared. In 2008, the coat of arms was replaced and the monument was rebuilt.
The monument stands on a land ramp that stands out from the plane of the square, on a two-stage foundation.
