★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand the situation, before the season it could be different at Balaton. Very few restaurants are open yet. However, a lunch for >5000 huf (more than in Budapest downtown) and my rice was gone bad already... I cannot accept, I had to throw away half of my food and my stomach aches. I ordered to take away, so they couldn't react, or change it, I hope it was just a one time thing. I'll change the star if based on my next experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a really lovely meal here, the food was great, taste-wise and portion-wise. The atmosphere and design was great. The staff was super kind as well. Just the prices are rather high so if you are on a budget maybe be careful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to sit outside, because they didn't have any tables inside available. I got a blanket though, but my husband didn't and I think a few of the other tables also didn't get one.
The food was nice and arrived quickly. We had fish stew and somlói galuska.

Restaurant was ok and staff was kind - food was good as well ! But when it comes to bill i was shock that i paid for 2 small plate portions of gulash , one portion of grilled livers and one pancake 68€ ( included some drinks - 3 cola and 2dcl of wine ) ! They used double prices as they had on menu - but we sadly saw it to late when we was outside on highway back to home - so we did not have possibility to complain . They cheating tourist for sure !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super impressed with this csárda! We just had lunch here on our way home to Croatia. The staff is super nice and food truly delicious. Portions are pretty generous, so if you're craving for some authentic Hungarian food, this is a right place for you.
