Taglétszámuk mára száz fölé emelkedett.
Az Egyesület működési területe a Pazderjás víztározó, amely a kaposszerdahelyi önkormányzat tulajdona.
A tó kezelését, amely szervesen csatlakozik a Zselic Tájvédelmi Körzethez, együttműködési megállapodás alapján a horgászegyesület végzi.
A kötelezően ellátandó funkciókon, engedélyek kiadásán kívül a szervezet részt vesz a falunapi rendezvények szervezésében, főzőversenyt, horgászversenyt bonyolítanak le.
