I wouldn't say it's the best I have tried in the restaurant but it is a good deal if you are in a hurry :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited pesti chutney on recently. The food was amaazing…. But had to wait for more than half an hour to get a seating and the food took forever to reach our place. But scrumptious food indeed. Wonderful customer service. The workers of the restaurant were welcoming. Costly but tasty food .

Each different types of meat were perfectly done with different types of sauces and spices each time. The waiters were charming and the service was quick. We would like to recommend this place to anyone who wants to find their new favorite Indian restaurant in Budapest. Thank you again for the unforgettable experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locate in very central area, this is the best hidden Indian food place. Staff are extradionary, food is authentic Indian. We arrived 9:56 and they still serve. Food comes fast, place is spacious. And price is So So reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I join the many other reviews here in saying that this is probably the best Indian restaurant I've been to in a really long time, if not ever.
Everything about this place is simple and straightforward but that shouldn't discourage you.
We were treated very nicely and even with a small mixup with our order we felt welcomed and respected.
The food was gorgeous and mouthwatering and the portions were generous. We still tried our best to finish the plates even though we were not particularly hungry to begin with.
I just simply recommend this as a must visit if you're after a great Indian restaurant.

I could not finish all and asked for take away, they saw that I had not much rice left and gave me additional. Great customer service

If you visit on a weekday their daily offer is a great choice. We had a nice tomato soup with a chicken rice meal and a nice coffe. We also tried butter naan with an eggplant cream as an appetizer.
I had an appetizer, a soup, the main dish, a ginger drink and a coffee for 13€.

Pesti Chutney is located in the Palace District, just a couple of minutes walk away from tram 4&6. The selection and variety of food is satisfactory. The dining hall is spacious and clean. Everything we ordered was delicious and well presented. Service was exceptional, staff took the extra step to make the experience great. Prices might be just above average for Indian restaurants but still worth a visit. Totally recommended.
