Nice place under Platan. Waiter = lazyman. Goulash soup good. Main dishes terrible. High prices. Together ONE STAR

I would like to thank the Italian waiter at Platan with re-antiquating me poor customer service. From the moment we, 2 couples with silent infants, walked in he didn't even deem it necessary to acknowledge our presence. If it hadn't been a public holiday with few other options and my wife about to feint from lack of food I would have walked out rather than sit 10 minutes in a near empty restaurant waiting for a menu or even 'I'll be right with you". I understand you couldn't bring out all our drinks at the same time but it would have been nice to explain why rather than get angry when we said we ordered 4 drinks for our group of 4...this was my breaking point. Why do you bring out half the entrees 10 mins before the others? So people with pizza are to sit there politely watching their food get cold. If your day was so bad, take a break...don't ruin everyone else's with your rude behavior. It's disgraceful I was forced to pay a 10% service fee. The food was alright, the pizza dough was a bit salty but this is Hungary so its typical, but I will make sure I never eat there again.

It was fine :) we ate lasagne and tortellini with Parma ham. Tortellini - very tasty. Lasagne - tasty, bust not equally heated. Part of it was vary hot and another part completely cold. The service was very nice and speaking English :)

Very nice Italian/Hungarian Restaurant. At first I wanted to go to Paprika because of the good ratings, but I didn't get a place there and should have waited for 30 minutes, so I went around and looked for alternatives. I did not regret going to go here instead, the waiter was very friendly, I got my food and everything pretty fast and it was delicious. I went for Goulash, Lasagne and Tiramisu. The price was also OK. I can only recommend to come here.

Great little cafe for a cozy dinner. Excellent duck, nice dishes, and decent service. A nice little neighborhood cafe if you're walking around town. Cozy ambience, friendly waitstaff (European timing). Butter is $, wine is good. Worth it!

Such amazing place... Hungarian dishes are just delicious. Service is good. Have wifi and the environment is great to have a drink and good talk with a great dinner

Decent Hungarian and Italian selection. They have a buffet version and "a la carte" version. Nice goose liver with apple an mashed potatoes ... Friendly service

Kind of meh. The best part was the service, but the worst part was the food quality and portion. You would expect either more food for that quality or higher quality for that amount of food. The tortellini tasted like what I buy pre-made at the grocery store. Not horrible, but nothing special. The duck breast was super dry.
