We took paprikash which is a traditional dish: stewed beef and some kind of dumplings. The owner (I guess it was him) is a charismatic man who meets people on the first floor. The place is almost always booked. The price is quite affordable

Very reasonably priced. We paid 8,656 HUF for 2 meals and 2x 200ml red wine. 13% service charge. They do take Card payments. Other reviews say cash only but that is no longer the case.

You could feel that they were very passionate about their business. The food was good and portions were very generous. We tried the goulash soup, pork tenderloin, and pork stew. The sweet potato fries in the pork tenderloin were fried to perfection. Shoutout to the chilli sauce - really really good and complements the food really well, you will really enjoy it if you are Asian. Also, the staff gives you a pin to pin where you’re from on the wall! Great experience overall - very warm and cosy.

Imagine all the love and effort your parents would put into that meal. That's exactly what you get if you have food here. Proper local food cooked with love, generous portions. A very pleasant, welcoming service. A menu in any language you might need it. And some of the cheapest prices we've seen in both sides of the river. If you visit Budapest you must do a trip here. It's only a bus away!

I ordered large soup and told the waitress that we like to share, she did not give us an extra bowl. The pork stew with dumpling was like family daily meal, not delicious restaurant food. They also charged me 13% mandatory service tip which I felt expensive given the quality of service.
