Small, much below road level, lots and lots of cars pass by. This is good on the one hand, because the baby can't run out of the road so quickly, but the dust, smoke, the heavier part of the exhaust can accumulate downstairs. A big swing would fit a screw pull, next time someone (or we) walk over to bring a pair of 17-19 keys ...
