I	Ivan Vujacic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are really rude and unhelpful. Took a power of attorney to pick up 3 packages but they refused them by saying: "the witness signature is not readable". Keep in my that it took me 4 days to get the power of attorney from Germany and the last day of picking up the package was the day they refused the signatures. I tried to explain the situation and asked what i could do, but their only reply was: "i dont know and i dont care"...

B	Barbara Ghareebah T. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed to get an official document, a certificate of good conduct which you have to buy there, fill it out, and post to the hungarian ministry. The document is in hungarian, there is no english version available, so I asked one of the post workers which my ticket number was assigned to if he could help me out. He looked up and down on me twice, saying that he will not help me. (???) I asked why in disbelief, and he just said it's not his business and responsibility to help me translate the document. I told him it is urgent, and without someone's help I will not be able to post it. He then babbled something about foreigners to his colleague, sent me away. Not recommended at all. The workers look down on you, they're not willing to help and they're beyond disrespectful.

T	Tamás Gere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The postal services are horrible here. Specifically when it comes to small packages or larger documents. They influenced the government to modify the law to allow them not to deliver bigger mails. So they aren't even feel to properly notify people about the mail arrival to the post office. They expect us to find out the time window when the mail is at the postal office and go there. If you go early or too late, you will leave empty handed. That's it. Oh, and the prices are rising far more than the inflation, on the other hand, they stating they are underfunded...
C	Carrie B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A busy post office as it services the entirety of the 6th District but surprisingly well run once you figure the system out. Go upstairs to collect small (under 500g) packages and letters, ground floor is for sending post and the mezzanine on the ground floor is for bill payment. You must print off a ticket using the machines at the entrance to be seen. In a separate building around the corner you can collect large packages. When sending post or collecting small packages you will have to wait 15-45 mins at peak times (4pm onwards) which can be frustrating and the staff have limited English speaking ability so if you're a non Hungarian speaker be patient while they try to help. Go across the road to Papír Bolt for a cheap and big range of normal and padded envelopes.
A	Adam Dienes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normal Post services are okay, people are helpful. BUT, the package section at the back is horrible. I get that people follow the rules here, but the amount of inflexibility is outrageous. Hungarian Post in itself is the worst service provider when it comes to packages. The currier would give my packages to anyone if it said my name, yet here I need several documentation just to verify that it was me who ordered it and want to take my paid package.
G	Gyorgy Valyi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the biggest post offices in Budapest, located in the very centre of the capital near to Nyugati railway station rendering almost all the postal and banking services including exchange of invalid Hungarian notes. The post office is always crowded, long lines and wait before you allowed to reach the window and can communicate with the postal clerk. There is also a small shop to buy necessary items to satisfy postal requirements, also books, toys for children. As there is a significant fluctuation of the poorly paid employees the postal staff is not always professional and not really attentive, they perform at minimally necessary level.
