What a unfriendly place .. honestly was such a wasting time to go there..

I love all the Praktikers just because they really know what they do and they do it nice and smartly They have nice and clean stores everywhere Annnd don't open toaletts cuz ehw even the ones on showcase have something not right in them Yea and don't use the actual restroom nasty af

I popped into Praktiker in Gyor, Hungary, today, looking for some wall clocks. There were three large ones on display near the entrance, one of which grabbed my attention, as I quite liked it, but when I made some enquiries, the sales person told me that those three clocks were only on display for advertising purposes. None of them were for sale!!! That was very disappointing, as 2 years in a row I was told that clocks on display were not for sale. Why not? Are you keeping them for the next generations, so they could one day look back in time and wonder what the heck happened, as Praktiker will perhaps be only mentioned in the underground city museums! Well, I still wandered around in the shop, but there was nothing on its shelves, except an ugly looking cheap clock....Sorry, guys, you have lost a customer! I am not going to chase clocks in your shop anymore! I came home and did some research on the Internet, where, to my happy surprise, I could choose from not one, but hundreds of beautiful, modern or retro looking decorative clocks. In spite of being very expensive, I have ordered a lovely wall clock today. In the end I got what I WANTED!!! The effort was well worth it, even if I had to pay a mere 95€ for a wall clock. Maybe next time I will be luckier in an unlucky situation. Good luck Praktiker! Other than this above I have no bad feelings towards your shop or employees.

There is the Grumpiest, and rudest security guard I ever met. Great choice of diy stuff but the staff is grumpy, and not really helpful.

Really good for DIY products, most items in stock, staff knowledgeable, situated in a good area, easy to find and able to park
