A Szent Anna utca másik végén található templom a nap minden percében nyitva áll és mindenkit szeretettel fogad! Still not full of beauty, but all but temple, You can't go in and you're not always open, I don't understand. The church at the other end of St. Anna Street is open every day of the day and welcomes everyone!

Az ablaknyilások felett érdemes megnézni azt a csodálatos boltíveket amelyet, évtizedekkel ezelőtt készitettek. A torony és a kupola elrendezése is különleges. A bejárati részt is ajánlom mindenki figyelmébe. Belülről is egy igazi remekmű. Kedvenceim az ablakok, amelyek egy-egy Szent személyt ábrázolnak. Érdemes személyesen ellátogatni ebbe a templomba, mert a mise is egy igazi nyugalmat biztosit, rohanó világunkba. I can admire this temple and admire from within. It is one of the most beautiful churches in Debrecen, built of small bricks. Above the window sills you should see the wonderful arches that were made decades ago. The layout of the tower and the dome is also special. I recommend the entrance section to everyone. Inside it is a real masterpiece. My favorites are the windows that represent a single person. It is worthwhile to visit this temple personally, because Mass also provides a real peace of mind in our rushing world.

Húsz évvel a királyi látogatás után (!) 1910. május 22-én szentelték fel a a bizánci építészet hagyományaira utaló, eklektikus stílusú, görög kereszt alaprajzú templomot, amelyet Bobula János budapesti építész tervezett. Ferenc pápa 2015-ben megalapította a Magyarországon élő görögkatolikusok számára a metropóliát, s a görögkatolikus érsekség székhelyének Debrecen városát jelölte ki. Twenty years after the royal visit (!), On May 22, 1910, an eclectic church with a Greek cross floor plan, designed by architect János Bobula in Budapest, was dedicated to the traditions of Byzantine architecture. In 2015, Pope Francis founded the metropolis for Greek Catholics living in Hungary and designated the city of Debrecen as the seat of the Greek Catholic Archdiocese.

A mai formáját akkor nyerte el, amikor a – szentélyt és a templomhajót elválasztó – ikonosztázion elkészült, s a templom 100 éves évfordulóján, 2010-ben megszentelték. The church was painted between 1950 and ’58. It gained its present form when the iconostasis - separating the sanctuary and the nave - was completed and consecrated in 2010 on the 100th anniversary of the church.

S persze, hogy a 1914. február 23-án történt bestiális pokolgépes támadásról is megemlékeznek a székesegyház falain. Looks like a traditional Greek church. It’s a bit like the iconostasis isn’t finished. Interestingly, it is not only covered with Greek iconic paintings. And, of course, that the bestial hell-attack on February 23, 1914, is also commemorated on the walls of the cathedral.
