Gyakorlatilag nincs kínálat: nyári hétvégeken napi két vonatpár, az is a Vasúttörténeti Park látogatására teljesen alkalmatlan időpontban.

We went to the museum on Sunday, there was some kind of event so it was full of people. The trains didn't stop there, passed it - why?!

Very good, primarily open air place for railway fans young and old.  A fabulous collection of old locomotives, steam, diesel and electric, coaches, wagons and permanent way equipment situated around two turntables and a 34 berth roundhouse.  Carriages.  Cranes.  Even snow ploughs.  At the time of my visit there was a spectacular model railway exhibition as well.  There is a bridge which allows you to get up high to view the trains, including coal cars from overhead. There is even an older car that rides on the rails. There is a miniature live steam engine driven train offering children's rides making a pretty big loop around the park. There is a family railcar that rides on the rails, that you use your arms to push it along.  Reasonable entrance fee. There was a festival with lots of artisanal food products as well and the whole place had a nice vibe. There are pleasant cafe, restaurant plus another building where you can buy snacks and souvenirs. Washrooms are available for the visitors. Most parts of the museum are wheelchair accessible, with huge parking park. For tourists the remote museum is difficult to access so I recommend to hire a taxi to prevent losing time.
