★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trail starts from Nagymaros. Just follow the yellow stripe/cave like sign. Nice place with great view. Overcrowded during weekends. Mountain shoes are required. I saw a lot of badly equipped people falling of their feet because of the slippery terrain. There is also the possibility to hike above the caves, that's the most trickiest part. The caves themselves are nothing spectacular. Did not see any wildlife. Suitable for kids 6 +.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 5-6 separated "Remete"caves from where the panorama is epic. Crazy to imagine that not long time ago some people actually lived there!
The hiking road is not the easiest but for sure worthy! The way to it also counts. ;)
From the top, you can see how the Danube bend below the cliffs, and how the track- boats come and go and also Dömös coast in front of.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hike is not really exhausting, but also not family-friendly if your kids are not used to doing bigger hikes. Otherwise, the caves are not such a big attraction, the view is perfect, but littering makes it less attractive. The hike leading to the caves can be rough at some points, but the forest is beautiful and is definitely worth a shot, even if you don't make it to the top.
