All dishes I ordered were great. Had to drive 40 minutes to just get to the restaurant and it was worth it.

Family run restaurant with great traditional and home cooking style food, generous portions and kind waiter service. Kids corner with toys and animation on weekends is an added value if you come with your little ones. Reservation on these days are recommended. They do take away and one can order whole tortes and cakes.

Been going here for 10+ years, albeit not too frequently. I really like the place, might be biased because of the nostalgia factor. Beautiful piano, tasty food and attentive waiters. Although, last time, the waiter accidentally put a number of items from another Asian's table to my bill (I'm Asian too). When I pointed it out he sincerely apologized and corrected it quickly. I found it funny so I just laughed it off. Come on, the man was basically serving the whole restaurant alone and super busy. He had to make a simplified mental map, and I get it. One star off is not because of this incidence. It's just that, objectively speaking, I get exactly what I pay for, but it doesn't exceed it. A side note, don't know why people are scared to do this but you can request a piece to the pianist.

One of my favourite restaurant in Budapest. They serve nice ribs and Goulash soup. Personally I love french onion soup and they have this menu. Their food style like home made!

Very open and large outdoor dining space. The French onion starter was okay. The staff are polite but don’t speak much English (we unfortunately haven’t learned that much Hungarian yet!). The beer selection is very small and the ribs were overcooked and dry.

A stellar of Buda hill and forest restoration. Good as always. Traditional educative dishes for tourists, who wish to learn hungariam cuisine. Thats how it should look and taste like examples.
