Traditional Hungarian confectionary-bakery with all the good sweet cakes and oastries and salty snanck you need when inviting friends over. Can be retro-romantic too with an on site coffee and cake. Offers handicrafted sandwiches as well. Always kind service.

Great local old style small cake shop. They do about 30 kinds of cake, the usual kinds, in slices. Plus a good range of savory bites such as cheap pogacsa and potato pogacsa. In the summer also ice cream. There is a small inside area and also a small convered. It's open from early until late every single day even when other shops are closed at the weekend. And the staff are nice and friendly. Pop in, sit down with an espresso and a black forest slice (feketeerdő szelet) and get some cheese scones (sajtos pogácsa) to go. No table service. Order at the counter.

Very tasty cakes and "pogacsa". Nice and fast service. One of the staffs speaks Spanish as well. Cash payment only. One star minus only for the design. Once you look at the sweeties I can promise it will be very difficult to make decision what and how much to buy.

Terrrible service for foreigners, stuff dont speak any english, no card payment possibility and they practically chased us away. I came in with a group of 10 person from Norway (I was the only hungarian speaking), wanting to show a nice local and traditional conditory to my class full of music teachers. They seemed to hate us from the very first time. One of us needed to use the toilet, they said, there was no toilet. (Is it actually allowed, not to have a toilet in a place where you can sit in 2020?? I dont know, but its weird....) I asked them very nicely if they would be so kind to let her use the personal toilet, but they got upset even of the question. They said they had another place just 100 meters away in a direction they have pointed, we should go there. So we left, desperately trying to look for the place, we didnt find it, it wasnt anywhere on the google maps either, so we had to assume that they were misleading us. Very bad customer experience. They didnt care loosing an income of 10 people spending money in their shop. Service like this should not be possible in 2020, totally ridiculous and sad, I would love to talk to the owner, what is his opinion.

The best things about this place is the retro atmosphere, including the cakes, the interior, etc, almost like it was taken from a memory. The cakes are no award winners but overall delicious, and the prices reflect this. We love to visit there for some desserts on any simple workday, it just makes the whole day sweeter.

Delicious cakes and nice selection. The prices are decent as well. They have ice cream in summer and you can have coffee there as well. They unfortunately do not speak English but I usually manage to buy what I want. And they recently started accepting card payment. I am a regular customer ?

Lots of good stuff....? Hungarian bakeries too, ice cream, cakes....you can sit inside but it is a little bit small but they have an outside sitting area. I am always going there if I want a good and yummy dessert.
