Heavily overrated..we came here due to the high scoring of the place but it is honestly much closer to a fast food restaurant than anything else. Maybe the fish is fresh (did not order) but anything else is definitely frozen. Lots of salt, tones of sugar and almost everything is deep fried. But hey, if you’re in for this stuff, go right ahead ..

It is my 3rd time of having a lunch here and I am totally satisfied with it. Great service, great food at great price. The place itself is near to river Tisza and it has a remarkable great view. The best dish I am in love with is fish soup which is a traditional Hungarian dish. I can recommend this restaurart for everbody who comes to visit Szeged! :)

Huge portion of Halászlé. Couldn’t finish so took it away (in menu you will find prices for different take away food containers). Halászlé was really delicious. Bread was also yummy. Only on bad thing we were ordering wine but there wasn’t price for wine in menu. So till bill arrived it wasn’t clear how much we will need to pay

Excellent service, great food. The restaurant is very recommended. Very good value for the money! I ate a fish soup and a plate with 4 different fried fish.

This is the place you need to visit when in Szeged. Outstanding fish soup and fish dishes. Staff is really kind and helpful and the location is really nice. Take into consideration that soup portions are big - one portion is enough for at least 2 people.

My in-laws recommended this place for lunch. The item pictured is the duck liver appetizer which is eaten with toast; this dish is very rich. My spouse ordered catfish paprikash with pasta and I ordered a pasta dish with a local cheese and sour cream and fried pork crackling on top. I was not able to finish my dish but the meal was very tasty. I would love to come back again.

We had a batch of the Traditional Hungarian Fish soup with local Wells catfish, which was a bit salty and didn’t exactly taste super fresh. The fried fish nuggets were alright. I gave three stars also because of the antiquated decor and the underwhelming overall dining experience.
