They have unbelievable friendly staff. They have very interesting seasonal public events, e.g. training to learn cooking. Even the area is very nice where you can have tours e.g. by bike. It is reasonable to leave Budapest just for having a lunch or a dinner here.

This is by far the best restaurant in the area. Great food, and a real difference to all the hungarian dishes served elsewhere. Also a good variety of dishes for vegetarians. Nice people and excellent service, and attentive to the young ones.Prices are very affordable. It just is great value for your money. Finally, if you like palinka...I never tasted any better. So if you want to have a real nice dinner, take the trip out to the island. ...

The place is simply amazing! I had no idea that you can find such a remote place so close to Budapest. The staff is super friendly and helpfull, everything is clean and tidy and the food is just simply amazing. Not 1 thing I can complain about. We were here with the company for a two day workshop / team building but I'm sure that I will be back here with my wife ?.

If you are looking for a getaway far from everything, but still within the reach of Budapest, this is your place. The inn is located deep into the forest, near the Danube. It has that rustic, old Hungarian rural feeling, most of the rooms are huge, it's not just a hole you get, but that famous Hungarian rural gasthaus feeling. The food is good too, could be better tho. But: if you want to do something exciting, this is not your place. nothing really near, only peace, quiet and nature.

We had a really pleasant stay here for a few days at the beginning of August 2020. The location is quite remote, which makes it lovely and quiet - but nearby towns are either a short drive or a short walk and ferry ride away. The room we stayed in had all the necessary amenities - this is a cosy, family-style pension, so as long as you have according expectations, you will not be disappointed. The bed was quite comfortable, and though there is no air-conditioning, the fan helped a lot during the warm nights. Be sure to ask for a mosquito net to cover the door, for better ventilation on hot summer nights. There are a lot of amenities outside of the rooms, including an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and spa, although we did not use the latter two. Rosinante has great food for lunch and dinner - the menu is not huge, but there is enough to choose from, and the quality of the food is very good with occasional stellar surprises. In particular the lecsó (a classic, basic Hungarian dish) is a must-have, as is the gulyás bean soup. The turógombóc (quark balls, yes) dessert is to die for. The wine-list is similarly compact, but excellent. Be aware that the three-course option can be very filling, we ended up going a la carte after the first evening. The breakfast is buffet style, tasty and quite extensive, with freshly made egg varieties for those who wish so. The staff at Rosinante is exceptional, friendly and helpful while never obsequious. They made our stay that much more pleasant, just by being attentive and present where needed. I've been to much more expensive, 'fancier' hotels that did not come close to this level of service. In all, we had a great stay and would heartily recommend Rosinante to anyone wanting a quiet getaway that is still close to Budapest.

Had a pleasant dinner at Rosinante. I almost felt 'guilty' for ordering the burger as all their dishes look fantastic, but we’ll be back for sure to try some of the other creative offerings. Everything was perfect, thank you!
