★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Újabb köztéri alkotás Békéscsabán, ezúttal az Élővíz-csatorna István malommal szemközti partján áll.
A Munkácsy Mihály festőművész 1873-ban készült festménye alapján készült alkotást, a Rőzsehordó nő szobrát Prisztavok Tibor szobrászművész készítette el még tavaly, a napokban felállították a sétányon a Csabagyöngye Kulturális Központ alatti téren.
A törékeny életnagyságú fiatal nő bronz alakja egy egyszerű csiszolt mészkő lapokból készült padon ül. Hátán egy kendőbe csavart rőzseköteget cipel, mely a mellén van összecsomózva. A rőzse annyira élethű, kedve támad az embernek megérinteni, meggyőződni róla, hogy bronzból készült. Két kezét ölébe ejtve, lábát keresztbe rakva pihen.
A szoborral lehet szelfizni is, nagyszerű összképet alkot a tér többi tárgyával együtt:)

The sculpture by the painter Mihály Munkácsy, made in 1873, was created by the sculptor Tibor Prisztavok last year, and was erected on the promenade in the square below the Csabagyöngye Cultural Center.
The bronze figure of a fragile life-size young woman sits on a bench made of simple polished limestone slabs. On his back he carries a bundle of roses twisted into a scarf, which is knotted on his chest. The cane is so lifelike, it makes you want to touch it, make sure it’s made of bronze. He rests with his hands on his lap, his legs crossed.
The statue can also be self-made, it creates a great overall picture with the other objects in the space :)
