★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Creamy garlic soup is tasty. The mashroom paprikas is tasty, but not great, tastes strong as marjoram, not as paprika. The jókai (bean soup) is the best, strongly recommended. Pork dishes are tasty. Duck was amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an expectation of a good Hungarian food. Instead we got a cold Halaszle soup, overpriced and overcooked fish which was probably taken out of a freezer. Total dissappointment. Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again. Overpaid 3 times. The place doesn’t accept cards for payment which is just basic standard of these days.
They will take euro at disaster exchange rate which is adding another 10% to your bill. Also they will direct you to their in house ATM. This is private ATM charging horrendous fees for withdrawal at bad exchange rate.
Food is expensive and another 10% service fee is added to the bill regardless if you were satisfied or not.
The area is nice but the whole visit is ruined by the feeling you are being milked to the maximum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not my first visit. I remember food was always good but not on my last visit. Soup full of hard skin barelly any meat, under cooked chicken with visible blood. Too many people for only so many waitresses it didnt looked like Csarda i remembered when they started. Last nail was you need to pay with cash only in 21st century.. Why?! At last they take Euros... with horrible exchange rates. Funny was plate in shape of "Great" Hungary, they just cant let it go.. shame. Hope next time it will be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing kitchen! Maybe the best food I ever had! Very nice staff, big and beautiful restaurant, amazing terrace on the water. The only really big downside - they don't accept credit cards. There is an ATM machine on the premises, but still, if you are not from Hungary and don't have local cash on you, be ready to have to use the ATM. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.
