It is located in the park of the hidden Rerrich Béla square. Its origin was made in Prague in 1373, but several copies are also known in Kolozsvár, Budapest, Krakow. The little bronze statue was given as a gift by Kunó Klebelsberg to Szeged. It was replaced in 1959.

A gótikus szobrászat remeke.Több másolata ismert, Prágában (a Hradzsin udvarában), Kolozsvárt, Budapest (az Epreskertben, a Vársétányon), Krakkóban. Bronz, feles életnagyságú, talapzata mészkő. Talapzatát 1930-ban felállították a piarista gimnázium és a kémiai intézet közé. A szobor felállítása csak nyolc évvel később történt. Klebelsberg Kunó ajándékaként került Szegedre. A Rerrich téri Béke épület építésekor lebontották és a múzeum lépcsőházában tárolták. A mai helyére 1959-ben került.

It was very beautiful when I took photos ... Its original was made in 1373, it is in Prague, in the National Gallery in Prague. He is a masterpiece of Gothic sculpture. Bronze, half life size, pedestal limestone. Its pedestal was erected in 1930 between the Piarist grammar school and the chemical institute. The statue was erected only eight years later. Klebelsberg came to Szeged as a gift. It was demolished during the construction of the Peace Building on Rerrich Square and stored in the stairwell of the museum. He replaced him today in 1959.
