★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Dóm nagyon szép, kicsit sokalltam a belépőt. Épp felújítás zajlott így mem volt annyira élvezhető, de látszik hogy törődnek vele. A kilátás a toronyból pazar.
 The Dome is very nice, I found the entrance a little bit. It was just being renovated so mem was so enjoyable, but it seems they care. The view from the tower is magnificent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A várost elpusztító Nagyárviz (1879) után a szegediek fogadalmat tettek egy nagyszabású katolikus templom megépítésére.Innen kapta a nevét is a Fogadalmi Templom.
After the Great Flood that destroyed the city (1879), the Szeged people vowed to build a large Catholic church. This is why the Votive Church was named after it.

Az ország negyedik legnagyobb temploma,
- ötezren férnek el benne - a keleti tornyában elhelyezett harang 1990-ig az ország legnagyobb harangja volt.
Az 1879-es nagy árvíz után született meg a templom építésének gondolata. A városatyák ekkor fogadalmat tettek, hogy a pusztulás helyén minden eddiginél nagyobb templomot építenek. Innen ered a templom neve is: Fogadalmi Templom, melyet 1930-ban szenteltek fel.
The Votive Church or the Cathedral of the Lady of the Hungarians in Szeged, or as most people know it, is located on the Dóm Square in the center of Szeged.
The fourth largest church in the country,
- it can accommodate five thousand - until 1990, the bell in its eastern tower was the largest bell in the country.
After the great flood of 1879, the idea of building a church was born. The city fathers then vowed to build a larger-than-ever church on the site of the devastation. Hence the name of the church: Votive Church, consecrated in 1930.

Not everyone visits what is a "must-see" attraction, but omitting it is certainly one of the biggest nonsense. Photos on the other plane, sorry.
