★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A stylish place that serves delicious food to accompany nice wine. I was extremely pleased tasting the cheese platter which includes soft goat cheese from Villany, fruit bread and cherry mustard chutney. Totally recommend trying it if you are a cheese lover like me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many options of wine. One of the best rosé wines I've ever had, and all the other wines are really good. The food was fantastic even though the price is on the higher end (but worth it!) and the wine prices are relatively okay. The view was exquisite and the service is top-notch! The staffs were friendly, and they even explained to us about the wines! They have their vineyards which we can walk to (especially in summers)! However, if you are planning to walk here from the Villány train station it could take a while. On the way, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful hills!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tremendous experience by every consideration but the most important was the kind hospitality of Krisztián who made us feel welcome from the very first moment. He listened intently to my less-than-natively-fluent Hungarian, gave great recommendations, and made the winery experience personal and meaningful! Much like everyone’s photos, the view was sublime and only made the tasting and dining experience better! Very well crafted menu which pairs well with the substantially red producing area! On that note, they are one of the few places in Hungary where you can try Hungarian Bordeaux blends in various proportions designated as different cuvées). Easily worth the trip out of the town (and down from Budapest!) to their estate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sauska 48 has excellent wine tasting options. The views from the winery are beautiful and perfect for a day trip from Budapest.
The restaurant is bistro style so the food was quite affordable and delicious, there is also a wine pairing menu option available.
All this is nothing compared to the hospitality and warm reception of the staff.
They were very patient and helpful on the tour and remained pleasant all through.
The site is also very clean and well maintained.
Overall it was a beautiful experience
