Very nice. Loved halušky, such simple dish but still so delicious.

The best onion roast I've had in the city. Their selection is wide and excellent, the daily specials are great. The grumpy sexy waitress made the experience even better.

Nice place. Gives you the feeling of being in old fashioned pub from times gone by.

The best Slovakian brasserie I see so far in Budapest. They have plenty of different beers and shots. The cuisine is really first class, great portions, everything is very well prepared and tasty. Summertime there are tables outside as well. (Next to an emergency station, so sometimes a bit noisy, but still very good.) The interior is simple and nice. The staff’s behavior is a bit strange, but still professional. Give it a try, you won’t regret.

Friendly, casual place with a really warm family feeling. I wasn't fond of the variety of drinks, I would like to see more craftbeers, but still it was great.

Nice hidden place next to the railway station. This was recommended by a local and have to say not bad. Went with my family to meet a friend over a meal and some of our choices were great but there is space for improvement. The brassoi was extremely salty and unfortunately the kids couldn't eat it. My "matrai" dish - one with the cheese and sour cream - was good portion (actually the portion size is big) the salad with the blue cheese and cottage cheese was delicious. My wife dish - stew- was a bit tasteless. Service could be improved (only 2 staff member and approx 12 tables where up to 6/8 person can sit) as the speed was on the slower side. All in all this was a "good one" and if you hungry you should visit.

First, the food is poor! There is nothing to be delighted with, unless your taste is not too sophisticated. I don't recommend to tourists from abroad. As soon as they realize that you don't speak Hungarian, it turns out that they don't have a terminal, that only cash and finally the bill for two soups, two main courses and two beers will be 42 euro !!! Scammers, awful food, rude service.

I confirm they are scammers, especially if you don't speak hungarian. They recommended something "off menu" and the bills was ten times higher that if we would have order from the menu itself. The food was ok but very greasy. After an unpleasant discussion with the waiter we manage to deal with the manager to pay a fair price. Needless to say we could not get an invoice. To be avoided.
