★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very surprising how nice those hidden places may be :)! The only disadvantage is that you can't pay by card + maybe I would throw away those old fashioned table cloths. Otherwise, I went there with no expectations and there was a live concert which was super cool and made nice atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bery nice hidden treasure with really unique atmosphere. Prices are moderate, there are simple foods on the menu if you would like to have a bite. Really cool in the heat of summer because covered by green plants. The staff is nice and professional. Be careful; this place is cash only. There are concerts as well.

Now the negative: can't pay with card (still can't believe this...), had to stand in line 10-15 minutes to get a beer at the bar, crowded (to many tables and chairs), overpriced for what it offers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the best pubs in Budapest. A really special looking place with ivy climbing the walls outside, big trees providing shade for the garden in the summer heat. Relaxing atmosphere, alternative, arty vibe, retro interior design, acceptable prices and concerts and events. The staff members are friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Potkulcs is a great place for great drinks and great people. Live music good food, friendly and courteous staff. They have a nice outdoor garden area and lots of tables indoors. The live music is very good. We definitely recommend this place.
