★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve just had my Ibanez Artcore AS-73 refretted with Alpaca jumbo frets at this guitar shop. I had naturally expected some improvement, but to be honest, I had not expected that the combination of meticulous craftsmanship, perfect setup and quality materials could have such an immense impact on the sound and the playability of the instrument. My guitar now has longer sustain, there is a rich singing character to the sound, all fret buzz is gone, and playing it – especially sliding along the strings – feels noticeably smoother. It’s as if I owned a guitar in a far higher price range. The owner takes his job very seriously. Highly recommended!
