Small but has almost everything

Being Indians we wanted to satisfy our taste buds with some Indian food.Spar market has most things we needed.But you can't get chili or masala there.Rice and Dal are available.

A good mini supermarket that is open 24x7 in this area.

Horrible place. The staff is really rude and racist. Nobody speaks english so its really hard to communicate. They dont help tourists at all and as everything is written in their language,you dont know what to get. When you ask for help all you get is a dirty look and a no as response.Budapest is a really beautiful city but the locals are extremely rude

Came to this store to get a few bits as it was my first time in Budapest ever! The cashier was a rude “man” who either didn’t like tourist or women (I can’t quite work it out based on his attitude). But the way he presented himself you would think he ran Spar rather than just work the tills. Upon paying for my shopping when asked for bags he pointed at a bunch, I got one and he screamed “NO” almost as if his pet was about to get hit by a car? He then gave me a correct bag so I’m guessing the incorrect bags laid out was the “issue” (would have helped if he checked it all beforehand). I needed three bags in total, when advised of this he threw the remaining bags at me? As I paid for the items my money was snatched from me by this “man” (thinking back now I may as well have walked out without paying). I asked for my receipt and he blankly stared as if Aliens had just landed behind me? I proceeded to take my receipt and that’s when he decided to come back to the real world and poorly attempted to hit my hand away? As he missed feeling like he just lost some man points he muttered something in Hungarian to the customer behind and they both laughed (so I can’t expect much from the locals when they see a female tourist disrespected either). Will be sure to mark both Spar and Budapest of the list of places to visit.

It has all the basic goods you need for your home. Also fresh fruit and vegetables and freshly baked pasties and bread rolls.Clean and nice. The queues are a bit longer at the till, just after working hours.

Very friendly and nice. Small but you can find basically everything you'd need. NEVER CLOSED. Open 24h even during the holidays so this is amazing! Prices are but high compared to the other markets though... most of the staff is friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it to you:)

Prepare to spend the rest of your night waiting in the line. It says 0-24 outside, but in reality it closes around 23:00 and in the late hours the lack of employees results in insanely long queues. There's stuff everywhere, like they have no storage room, so its really hard to move inside between the selves.
