Really big collection, very interesting. The stuff doesn't speak English but there are explanations in all mayor languages! Could have spent hours there!

Very interesting and vast collection of stamps from all over the world. So many stamps from so many countries, I'll definitely come again! It is a must see!!

Magyar Posta holds an enormous collection of early stamps issues from countries all over the world. There is a small chamber showing Hungarian stamps with special printing techniques under magnifiers and UV light. They provide laminated info sheet in various languages that are very helpful. Some postal-related interesting exhibits in the center of the room. This is only a museum for the stamps. Postal services and history exhibits are in the Postal Museum.

I'm a philstelist and have visited stamp museums in many cities. This is the best so far. The central display is on space exploration, and you are given an information sheet on where to find the rarest stamps in the extensive walls of sliding panels. A secret dark room explains details of stamp production with a magnifier. There is also a 20 frame exhibit on the earliest Hungarian stamps. Worth a visit.

This morning , my husband (who has a stamp collecting website in the U.S.A.), and I went to this stamp museum. We were very impressed with the vast selections of stamps they had in their collection. We found some that my husband had in his personal collection and had written about. We spent the whole morning here and could have spent even longer if we weren't pressed for time. We both loved visiting here. I would highly recommend it if you are interested in the stamp collecting hobby.

An interesting experience. Literally tens of thousands of stamps from all over the world and different periods of time. However, most details are in Hungarian language and you have to figure out for yourself details. If you want to see all of it you will need days.

A very nice exibition and an impressive collection of stamps from all over the world - very friendly staff. The texts in the exibits are, however, only in hungarian, which is a real pitty. A must for anyone the least interested in stamps.

A very interesting museum, totally unexpected! The collection of stamps, which I was told contains more than half a million pieces, has some rare examples, and stamps from the origins to most recent times from all over the world! In fact, in one big room you'll find all these drawers for you to freely open and have six pages, inside glass panels, full of stamps. Never seen anything like it before, so that was the first surprise. They are organised per country, and the legend on the side of each block will tell you from which frame to which you can find the ones from each state (in English, too). The helpful lady there, although spoke little English, helped us very much, explaining the collection and its organisation, and provided us some material/leaflets in English as well. Surprisingly, there was nobody else in the museum during our visit, but that allowed us to have a proper relaxed look at many stamps. We spent a long time and more would have been needed!
