Első ízben 2000 augusztusában, az államalapítás 1000. évfordulóján adták át, azonban ez négy évre rá egy autóbalesetben összedőlt, az újra állításra pedig csak két évvel később kerülhetett sor. Mind az első, mind a második alkotás Tóth Dávid szobrászművész keze művét dicséri, létrejöttüket közadakozás is segítette.
Verőce numerous public art works, statue, stands out among these equestrian statue of Prince Géza. First it opened in August 2000, the 1,000th anniversary of foundation of the state, but that it collapsed in a car accident four years, the re-production and only have taken place two years later. Both the first and the second work praise the work of sculptor Dávid Tóth, and their creation was supported by public contributions.
