Sturman Castle From 1770 the village became the property of the Sturman family, who made favorable changes in the lives of both Ózd and Csernely. The members of the family offer many interesting things: the development of the mining and iron industry in Gömör county, György Sturman's relationship with Lajos Kossuth, Hermin Veres Beniczky's relationship with the outstanding figure of Hungarian women's education, etc. In Ózd they helped to build a factory, in Csernely a manor house was built - the locals call it a castle. The building has a stable, a two-storey granary and an ancient park behind it. The land, mines, factories and buildings of the Sturman family were listed in Annex II. confiscated and nationalized after World War II. Despite nationalization, they were allowed to rent out part of their own castle. After the change of regime, the buildings and the primeval park declared a nature reserve became the property of the municipality. In the 1980s and ’90s, some rooms in the castle housed a public library. The two-storey granary was renovated on the Millennium, the ground floor was given a concrete floor, its walls were painted and its roof was repaired. The upper level has the original wooden floor, but the wood is already quite old and would need to be replaced. Unfortunately, due to the foundation, its walls are getting wet and its plaster is crumbling.

Another "ajjdekárért". Although it is in a good location in the middle of the village, it is surrounded by a large square. Behind him is a wooded area from which huge trees have recently been cut down. The outbuildings, despite the decaying plaster, appear to be in better maintenance. The building is not fenced, you can walk around. You can park comfortably in front of it.
