A torony ipari műemlék, s a mai napig létfontosságú a környéken élők számára, hiszen nélküle megszűnne a magasabban fekvő hegyvidéki lakások vízellátása. The Svábhegy Water Tower was handed over in 1913. The tower, designed by Szilárd Zielenszky University of Technology professor, is 30 meters high and can hold 200 m3 of water. The tower is an industrial monument and, to this day, is vital for the people living in the area, as without it the water supply of the higher upland apartments would be cut off.

The water tower in Svábhegy has been providing water to the locals since 1913, the tower pool is filled by the engine house on Diana út, the pressure boosting equipment raises the water to the János Hill lookout tower - ensuring that fresh drinking water flows from the upstairs taps to the residents. The building is beautiful!

A víztorony tavaly kapott új külsőt, így újra a régi pompájában magasodik. Impozáns látvány, a megújult víztorony. The thirty-meter-high, two-hundred-cubic-meter industrial monument is still vital to those living in the area to this day. The water tower got a new look last year, so it rises again in its old splendor. Impressive sight, the renewed water tower.
