★ ★ ★ ★ ★ דומני שזהו בית הכנסת הקטן ביותר בעולם. הבנתי שמדי פעם (אולי בימים הנוראים) מתכנס כאן מנין יהודים לתפילות. שמעתי שיש בעיירה כעשרים יהודים (כנראה לא דתיים, אולי מסורתיים).
מדובר בבית כנסת שהוסב מבית מחצר של בית מגורים. בני המשפחה נרצחו ע"י הנאצים, ורק אחד מהם שרד, והוא חזר לעיירה והפך את חצר המגורים לבית כנסת (אולי לעילוי נשמת יקיריו).

The mini exhibition is worth a look The old lady leading the exhibition revealed a lot of interesting information about the history of the affected family and the Jews of Szentendre.
