Small castle but very nice. I especially liked the guide and the horses. :) I wish I lived here at the time of the owners of the place.

Small castle with a few items of interest. Worth a visit and to walk round the gardens. Not expensive for entry. Follow the signs to the Schloss Hotel for parking

Loved the castle and the Széchenyi exhibit. I would recommend it to anyone. The castle grounds need some work, so do some of the buildings. Hopefully that will happen soon.

The castle and the park are nice. The groundfloor exhibition is exactly the same as back in the 1980s but the first floor is really modernized the dance-room arrangement is a great idea you do feel like trying out the contemporary dances there! The downside is that the technical equipment such as touch screens, programs do not work smoothly. I had the feeling that somebody tried to bring 21st century into the building but then the others who should run the building neglected the innovations. A bit more exhibited items in connection with Szécheny and his work would be better. I was there when it was terribly hot and the cashier lady and the guard were not very happy - understandibly as they have no AC to keep the air cool for them so all in all I would say that this place is worth visiting really but I do suggest the owners that they should do better maintenance on the technical equipment and on the good working conditions.

Great way to learn about this important noble family in Hungarian history and Istvan Szechenyi in particular. Ground floor exhibits in Hungarian only, but English audio guide for HUF 500 gives excellent information. Upstairs exhibit is about Istvan Szechenyi and his role in modernising Hungarian transport infrastructure in the first half of the 19th century. Easy to get here by bus, stop is a few hundred metres away.

This is a historical castle from one of the most important family in a Hungarian history. Istvan Széchenyi nick name was "A biggest important HUNGARIAN man". This place show why he deserves that title. Parking place is close to the entrance also available disabled entrance. Audio tour guide is available several languages.
