Prekoputa ulaza u Zavetnu crkvu, na fasadi zgrade koja okružuje Dom trg, nalazi se muzički sat, simbol Univerziteta srednjeg veka. Dva puta u toku dana, tačno u 12:15 i 17:45 iz sata izađu figurice nastavnika i maturanata proslavljajući kraj školske nastave. Figurice su rezbarene od lipe i u pitanju su poznate mađarske ličnosti. Ovaj muzički sat svakog dana intonira popularnu narodnu pesmu pod nazivom „Segedin je grad vesti“. I was struck by the beauty and history of the building. Across from the entrance to the Covenant Church, on the facade of the building surrounding Dom Square, is a music clock, a symbol of the University of the Middle Ages. Twice in the day, at 12:15 and 5:45 pm, figures of teachers and high school graduates emerge from the class to celebrate the end of school. The figurines are carved from linden trees and are made up of famous Hungarian figures. This music clock intones every day a popular folk song called "Szeged is a city of news".
