Nekem szerencsém volt, bejutottam! A templomhoz egy lépcső vezet fel. Mellette sorjáznak a Kálvária megkopott, felújításért kiáltó stációi. A templomkertet egy fal övezi beleépítve pár szépen faragott barokk sírkővel. 1775-ben Mária Terézia elrendelte, hogy a templomok melletti sírkerteket fel kell számolni. Ekkor kerülhettek a kőfalba a sírkövek, mint a Kőműves Kelemenné a dévai vár falába. A legrégebbi sírkő 1730-ból származik. Azt hirdeti, hogy itt nyugszik Rimanóczy Boldizsár, aki a felirat tanúsága szerint „nemes, kiváló jellemű és nagy reményekre született”. Személyes kedvencem egy szív alakú habos-babos kerubfejes 1761-ben datált sírkő, mely alatt egykor Szabó Erzsébet és Cséby György aludta örök álmát (Azt olvastam, hogy a templom befalazott kriptájában még régebbi sírkövek is vannak.) Maga a templom Árpád-kori alapokon áll, de ma már színtiszta barokk kinézetű. A XVIII. században nyerte el mai formáját. (Sajnos nem sikerült bejutnom, pedig bent csodálatos rokokó főoltár van 1776-ból.) Miután kigyönyörködtem magam „hazaindultam”. A haza ebben az esetben egy kis bükfürdői apartman volt. Bár a Répce-mente a hegyekhez, szép erdős utakhoz szokott lelkemet nem érintette meg, de a falvak „kincsei” bőven kárpótolták az erdős-hegyes élmények hiányát.

I was lucky, I got in! A staircase leads up to the church. Next to it are the worn-out stations of Calvary, shouting for renovation. The church garden is surrounded by a wall with a couple of beautifully carved baroque tombstones. In 1775, Maria Theresa ordered that the tomb gardens next to the churches be demolished. Then the tombstones could get into the stone wall, like the Bricklayer Clement in the wall of the castle of Deva. The oldest tombstone dates from 1730. He announces that Boldizsár Rimanóczy rests here, who, according to the inscription, is “noble, of an excellent character and born of great hopes”. My personal favorite is a heart-shaped foam-bean cherub-headed tombstone dated 1761, during which Erzsébet Szabó and György Cséby once slept their eternal dreams (I read that there are even older tombstones in the walled crypt of the church.) The church itself is based on the Árpádian period, but today it has a pure baroque look. The XVIII. century gained its present form. (Unfortunately, I was unable to get in, although there is a magnificent Rococo high altar from 1776.) After admiring myself, I “went home”. The home in this case was a small apartment in Bükfürdő. Although the Rapeseed Coast did not touch my soul accustomed to the mountains, beautiful wooded roads, the “treasures” of the villages made up for the lack of wooded-mountain experiences.
