Keresztes Szilárd megyéspüspök 2005-ben alapított egyházközséget. 2011-ben a hívek parókiát és közösségi házat építettek. A város által adományozott telken Telepóczky Miklós tervei alapján építették templomukat Szent Demeter nagyvértanú tiszteletére, melyet 2016. augusztus 21-én Kocsis Fülöp metropolita szentelt fel.
For the Greek Catholics of Vásárosnamény in Beregdaróch, dr. Solid Cross Bishop Bishop founded in 2005. In 2011, the believers built a parish and a community house. On the plot donated by the city, Miklós Telepóczky built their church in honor of St. Demeter's great-grandson, which was consecrated by Metropolitan Kocsis on August 21, 2016.
