A modern metro station in the center of Budapest. Well cared for and relatively deep. Access is facilitated by an escalator. I would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando viaggio adoro andare alla scoperta delle stazioni metropolitane più belle e particolari. Questa stazione Szent Gellert di Budapest è composta da migliaia di piccole piastrelle di tanti colori che rivestono il soffitto e le pareti dando un aspetto magico alla stazione.
Non è proprio nel centro di Budapest è bisogna perderci un oretta per arrivarci (dal quartiere ebraico dove alloggiavo) però ne vale veramente la pena.
Consiglio di andarci in tarda serata così da potersela godere senza la calca delle ore di punta!
When I travel I love to discover the most beautiful and particular underground stations. This Szent Gellert station in Budapest is made up of thousands of small tiles of many colors that cover the ceiling and walls giving a magical aspect to the station.
It is not really in the center of Budapest and you have to lose an hour to get there (from the Jewish quarter where I was staying) but it is really worth it.
I recommend going there in the late evening so you can enjoy it without the rush of rush hour!
