A vallás és közoktatásügyi minisztérium másolatot készíttetett. A budai Várban található Szent György szobor talapzatának tervezője Schulek Frigyes, kivitelezője Seenger Béla kőfaragó volt. Mészkő talpazat 250 cm, a bronzszobor 350 cm, ebből 150 cm a szurony rúdja. Ennek a szobornak is van egy másolata a VI. ker. Epreskertben, és Szegeden. (köztérkép.hu)
The original statue was commissioned by King Louis the Great (1373) and currently stands in the monastery of George in Prague Castle. The castle III. there is a copy in his yard. The Ministry of Religion and Public Education has made a copy. The pedestal of the statue of St. George in Buda Castle was designed by Frigyes Schulek and executed by Béla Seenger, a stonemason.
