★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az Erzsébet ligetből az Eötvös Károly Megyei Könyvtár irányába tekintve ódon kőlépcsőt pillantunk meg, amely a Kálváriadombra vezet. Itt volt a régi Veszprém egyik központja. Tetején a XIII. századi Szent Miklós Plébániatemplom romjai láthatók. A hajdani templom körül még a XVI. században is temetkeztek. A török pusztítása után a XVIII. században építettek kálváriát, melyről nevét is kapta. A Kálváriadomb és a Szent Miklós-szeg felújítása 2006. májusában fejeződött be.
